After months of inactivity following a run of gigs in 2016, The Rainkings are set to release a new single, Good Times, in October 2017. This will be the bands third release after re-forming in 2012.
The single is being released in aid of the British Tinnitus Association (BTA) and all money raised from sales will go direct to the charity.
This follows the announcement that singer Stephen Holt was recently made an ambassador for the charities Plug’em campaign. Stephen was also involved in the hugely successful Tinnitus Tea Party organised by members of Inspiral Carpets and their families which helped to raise over £4,000.
Good Times will be released digitally via the bands Bandcamp page;
therainkings.bandcamp.com plus all other reputable sites, i.e. iTunes
It was recorded at Manchester’s SSR studios and mixed by Seadna McPhail who worked on the bands ‘Another Time’ album.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all who have helped make this single possible and all those who will hopefully buy it and help raise much needed funds for the BTA so they can continue raising awareness of tinnitus and providing support for sufferers.
Remember to ‘Love your ears and Plug In’.
Enjoy Good Times!
